Create beautiful faux finish and decorative finishes with this slow drying, translucent satin color glaze. Pre-mixed colors require no tinting and are ready to use. Achieve visual depth with this versatile, easy to use glaze. Use one color alone or apply multiple coats of different colors for a blended effect. Use with other Valspar® Signature Colors® glazes for pearlescent, metallic or antiqued looks.Use with the following techniques: Color Washing, Stippling, Dragging, Sponging and Rag Rolling.

Make sure surfaces are clean, dry and free of peeling paint. Use a primer on new wallboard. Use a base coat of Valspar paint under Color Glaze. Allow base coat to dry 4 hours or overnight before applying Color Glaze.
1. Apply the base coat according to label instructions. 2. Apply Color Glaze as outlined in the Valspar® Signature Colors® Faux How-to Guide. 3. Protect your decorative finish with Valspar® Signature Colors® Faux Clear Protector. Allow Color Glaze to cure one week before applying protective finish.
This glaze will stay workable for up to 45 minutes. This allows you to work and re-work an area if needed. Avoid drafts from fans, open windows, etc. to prevent premature drying. Surface and air temperatures should be between 55-75°F.
WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN.
