You'll use fewer coats of paint. Many bold paint colors look truest when applied over one of 5 shades of gray. Color Primer also promotes better touch up and uniform color, eliminating streaks.

Where to Use

Use tintable primer on properly prepared interior and exterior surfaces including bare or previously painted drywall, masonry, concrete, cured plaster, wood, and non-rusted galvanized metal, gutters and downspouts.

Coverage

One gallon of primer covers up to 400 sq. ft. (37.2 m2) depending on surface porosity. Thin only for spray application with up to 8 oz. of water per gallon.

Clean and dry surface thoroughly, removing all mildew, dirt, dust, rust and grease.
